ABOUT US

Social Justice Week (SJW) is a series of events dedicated to addressing some of the world's most pressing social/human rights issues.

Our goal is to not only educate the student body and the community, but to get people to take action to help end these grave global issues.

We are going to use the momentum and interest generated from SJW to establish a center dedicated to addressing social justice and human rights related issues.

The Center for Social Justice and Human Rights would aim to educate studuents and community members about numerous issues related to liberty and equality in the United States and abroad, focusing on how race, ethnicity, social class, gender, sexual identity, and other related factors impact societal policies and practices.

Social Justice Week is supported by the Center for Judaic, Holocaust and Peace Studies; Multicultural Student Development; ACT and various student organizations.
